6-Week Series: Introduction to Heart Rhythm and Meditation

Participants in this course will learn science-based breathing practices that result in a slower heartbeat, a calmer mind, and a greater ability to regulate emotion. They will experience the power and calm of breathing with their own heartbeat. Each week of this six part series another dimension of the basic Heart Rhythm Meditation practice will be taught. Focusing on creating an even, full rhythmic breath entrained with the heartbeat will lead in a short time to a deeply transpersonal and transformative experience of oneself and others while staying within one’s own body. Unlike some other common forms of meditation, in Heart Rhythm meditation we encourage an embodied practice so there is no disconnect from our body, heart, mind and spirit. Concrete tools will equip participants with the ability to start an at home meditation practice to help them live a fulfilling life.
Suitable for newbie or experienced meditators.
